These medium stainless steel calotte ends, also known as clamshell knot covers, are designed to give your jewellery a neat, professional finish while securely concealing knots or crimps. Crafted from high-quality 316 stainless steel, they offer excellent durability and corrosion resistance, making them ideal for long-lasting jewellery designs.

Measuring approximately 8mm long and 4mm wide, these calottes feature an original hole size of 1.3mm, making them suitable for fine cord, nylon thread, silk, or tiger tail. The bottom fold design allows the knot or crimp to sit neatly inside before gently closing the shell with flat-nose pliers.

Once closed, the attached loop can be used to connect a clasp or jump ring, or removed if you prefer to add your own connector for a seamless finish.
