Bead Tips Calotte Ends Clamshell Knot Covers Gold PVD Plated 7.5mm | 304 Stainless Steel

These bead tips are manufactured from 304 stainless steel with a gold PVD vacuum plated finish. Also known as calotte ends, clamshell knot covers and bead tips, they are used to conceal knots and create a neat attachment point when finishing necklaces and bracelets. The hinged clamshell design closes around the knot, helping create a clean and professional finish.

TBead tips are commonly used with silk, nylon cord, bead stringing thread and other jewellery making materials. To use, tie a knot at the end of the thread, position the knot inside the clamshell and close the two halves around it. The loop can then be attached to a jump ring, clasp or chain extension.

TPVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) plating is commonly used to create a more durable and wear-resistant finish than many conventional plated coatings.

TMeasures approximately 7.5mm long and 4mm wide. Hole sizes are approximately 1mm and 1.5mm. Internal diameter is approximately 4mm. Crafted from 304 stainless steel with gold PVD vacuum plating. Sold in packets of 50 pieces each.
