These 304 stainless steel open jump rings are finished with durable 18K gold PVD plating. Produced by the same factory as our Premiere Collection charms, they feature an unusually thick 2 µm layer of genuine 18K gold, offering excellent colour stability and durability. The result is a water-resistant finish suitable for everyday jewellery wear.

Jump rings are essential connectors in jewellery making, commonly used to attach clasps, charms, and pendants. Their open design allows for easy assembly. For a secure closure, it is recommended to use two flat-nose or chain-nose pliers when opening and closing the ring.

To open a jump ring, hold one side firmly with pliers and use another pair to gently twist the opposite side away from you in a sideways motion. Avoid pulling the ring apart, as this can weaken its structure.

To close the jump ring, reverse the motion by twisting the ends back together until they align seamlessly. A slight tension should be felt when the ends meet, ensuring a secure and professional finish to your jewellery piece.
