How to make a simple wire loop

Use head pins to make beaded-dangles & eye pins to make beaded-connectors

Making a simple wire loop to make a beaded-dangle

1. You will need your round-nose pliers and wire cutters. To make a beaded dangle start by placing your bead or combination of beads on a head pin.

2. Using your wire cutter cut the pin approx. 1cm from the bead making sure the bead is flushed to the end of the head pin.

3. Using your pliers bend the wire to a right angle.

4. Using your round-nose pliers grip the tip of the wire and bend inwards to create a loop. Continue turning the wire until a complete loop is formed. Note: Where you position your wire on the round-nose pliers will decide how big the finish loop will be. For a consistent finish try and position the wire in the same place each time.

5. Make sure the loop is closed with the end of the wire flush with the base of the loop.

Making a simple wire loop to a beaded-connector

1. You will need your round-nose pliers, flat-nose pliers and wire cutters. Repeat step 1 to 6 for making a beaded-dangle but substitute the head pin for an eye pin.

2. Grip each loop with a pair of chain nose pliers and just twist until both loops face the same direction.
