Teach Yourself to Make Beaded Jewellery

It's easier than you think to make beaded jewellery to get started you will need four tools, learn two easy to learn techniques and some jewellery making supplies.

After learning two basic techniques of opening and closing jump rings and making basic wire loops you will be on your on your way to seeing your jewellery designs come to life. These two techniques will allow you to attach items together to create endless combination. Read the list below for what you need to get started.

FOUR MUST HAVE TOOLS
1. Two chain-nose or flat-nose pliers. It doesn’t matter which one as long as you have two.
2. One wire cutter
3. One round-nose pliers

SOME FINDINGS
4. Eye pins (a pin with a loop at the end)
5. Clasps
6. Jump rings (a ring with an opening)
7. Head pins (a pin with an end on one side)

The number of tools, components & findings are endless but this is the minimum you will need to get started.

TWO BASIC TECHNIQUES

After you master creating simple wire loop and opening and closing jump rings you can start to created beaded chains, necklaces, charm bracelets & earring.
